We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Email Marketing Specialist to own and optimize our email marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for crafting effective email campaigns, improving customer engagement, and driving measurable results through data-driven strategies. The ideal candidate combines strong copywriting skills with technical expertise in email automation, segmentation, and analytics.
Qualifications
2–4+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or digital marketing. Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact, etc.). Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail. Understanding of HTML/CSS for email is a plus. Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, and analytics tools. Ability to analyze metrics and translate data into actionable insights. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Email Campaign Development Plan, build, test, and deploy email campaigns, including promotional emails, newsletters, drip sequences, and transactional messages. Write compelling copy aligned with brand voice and messaging standards. Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and mobile-responsive email templates. Audience Segmentation & Personalization Develop dynamic audience segments to ensure targeted and relevant communications. Implement personalization strategies that increase engagement and conversion rates. Automation & Lifecycle Marketing Build automated workflows that support lead nurturing, customer onboarding, retention, and re-engagement. Continuously optimize automations based on performance data and user behavior. Analytics & Optimization Track and analyze email performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion, revenue attribution, unsubscribe rate, etc.). Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, CTAs, content, and send times. Present insights and recommendations to improve results. Compliance & List Health Maintain high deliverability by monitoring list hygiene and practicing proper opt-in standards. Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other email marketing regulations.
Skills Prefered
Experience in e-commerce, real estate, design, or related fields (customizable). Knowledge of customer lifecycle management and retention strategies. Familiarity with CRM integrations and API-based email triggers.
